DramaFever Weekly Top 10 for June 16th to June 22nd
Do you remember the first Lee Min Ho drama you watched? For me, it was City Hunter. I loved the action, the suspense, and of course, the very handsome young leading man of the show. Then I found Boys Over Flowers. The rest is history. Not only am I hooked, just as you all are, on K-dramas, I'm also enthralled with Lee Min Ho and amazed at his accomplishments at his age. He is undoubtedly the shining star whose charisma has attracted millions of fans to follow him and to watch not just his, but also all other K-dramas, giving rise to the fame of new Korean stars. Wait, I forgot I should be talking about the Top 10 shows of last week.
Need I say more to convince you that perhaps DramaFever should be renamed LeeMinHoFever? This is especially evident when DramaFever had a special banner on June 22 to remind us it was the Prince of K-dramas' birthday.
So which Lee Min Ho drama did you watch to celebrate his birthday?
June 22 was also K-pop idol and drama star Jung Yong Hwa's birthday. DramaFever lists these dramas for him: You're Beautiful, Heartstrings, and Marry Him If You Dare. But, did you know these fun facts including his special cameo appearance in the very popular A Gentleman's Dignity?
Here are last week's Weekly Top 10 shows in order of most popular:
3. Running Man
As for other shows, Doctor Stranger is still top on my list. It's simply captivating and it keeps me on pins and needles not knowing what will happen next. I'm also intrigued by the new turn in Fall In Love With Me. How will Aaron Yan win back his love who believes he is a scumbag? By the way, Taiwanese audiences are convinced there's something real going on between Aaron and Tia Li because of their off-screen chemistry.
I'm relieved that Angel Eyes reached a satisfying finale. I was really worried for a while. There's no way that the beautiful Lee Sang Yoon could not get his happy ending!
When will the clueless Joon Soo (played by Nam Goon Min) in Wild Chives and Soybean Soup figure out his long-lost love is standing right in front of him and he's fallen for her all over again?
You Are All Surrounded is a show that I wish I had the time to watch. Fortunately, DramaFever News has a really hilarious recap for it, as well as recaps for many other shows, from talented contributing writers.
