DramaFever Weekly Top 10 for March 3rd to March 9th
My Love From Another Star continues its popular reign at the top of our list. At the risk of ire from Lee Min Ho's fans, it's been reported that Kim Soo Hyun is now getting better security services than what Lee Min Ho gets in China. Can you believe that? But my favorite show for the moment is Emergency Couple along with its two heat-seeking alpha males.
Here are the shows in order of most popular:
5. Running Man
I love the weekend because when Friday arrives, I know I will get a new episode of In A Good Way. It's not on the Top 10 list but I think it should be for its heartfelt and genuine portrayal of young college students growing up and learning about love and friendship in the late 1990s. And, of course, I then get two hot servings of Emergency Couple which is moving on swimmingly, not to mention the bonus of a shower scene from Dr. OhDreamy (Choi Jin Hyuk!) this week. Will Dr. Hot (Lee Pil Mo) be next?
My other Taiwanese drama, Deja Vu, also gets a new episode on Sunday in Taiwan, and then we move on to two upcoming episodes of Bride of the Century on Mon/Tues. This is why my weekend is really busy in catching up on dramas in my alternate universe of Dramaland. How about you? Do you track multiple shows too?
I also started Three Days which came on the air on the heels of My Love From Another Star. It's a very intense action/thriller/mystery starring Park Yoo Chun, who I started liking when I watched the hilarious romcom Rooftop Prince. One of these days I will have to watch his first drama, Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Here he is playing a special services agent who finds himself embroiled in a conspiracy at the highest level. I'd have to admit that it's hard to imagine how a conspiracy mystery of the scale can be resolved in 3 days, but we have 16 episodes to figure it out, and there is a very cute police woman (Park Ha Sun) who is a perfect match for Park Yoo Chun. (Sorry to fans of Han Ji Min.)
One benefit of being a premium member at DramaFever is that I can watch these shows earlier than free members, and I can move from my PC, to tablet, to phone, and to TV when I can't finish an episode in one setting. DramaFever certainly tries to acommodate the life of an addicted drama fan.
I Need Romance 3 reached its finale last week. Although I haven't seen it, I couldn't wait to read MariamWatt's excellent finale recap. It's hilarious with lots of gifs.
Wishing you all another wonderful week of drama watching!
