Will Blood continue its #1 position for the Top 10 Most Watched Dramas? Here's a brand new list containing not 1, not 2, not 3, but at least 4 big surprises!

I've been writing this weekly column for more than a year, and I've seen surprises, but nothing like what you're about to see in the new Top 10 list. I don't start writing the article until I've seen the list for the very reason that surprises can come like a dream come true for some or a worst nightmare for others.

I promised at least 4 surprises. So here they are:

1. The easy-on-the-eye and warmhearted 7 knights from GOT7 who love and care for Song Ha Yoon have taken Dream Knight like a galloping stallion to #1 on the list!  Perhaps it's because it is a short series that's easy to binge, but it is truly a very cute show to enjoy. Blood fans should still feel proud, nevertheless, because it is still #1 among all the full-length dramas, and it continues to get better in each new episode.

2. Heirs has risen again, and it has even overtaken Hyde, Jekyll, and I after passing Healer last week. Many people have watched Heirs again and again, but that can't be the only reason. I think it's because we are getting many new DramaFever viewers as well as Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin fans who are just starting to watch Heirs for the first time. What do you think?

3. The hardworking Maids have pushed their endearing drama to #6 on the list. Many of their fans have wondered why the drama hasn't shown up among the Top 10. Well, here it is! Good job!

4. I'm more than surprised not to see Shine or Go Crazy on the list. Well, I don't think the awesome historical drama has lost viewers, but that the other shows that got new viewers have risen higher in the list. The intrigue is only getting more suspenseful at this point in the drama because our hero and heroine have to somehow find a way to stay alive in the face of their greatest enemies.

I actually have a surprise #5. Read on and I'll have it for you at the end of the Top 10 list.

I started watching Unkind Women for Song Jae Rim because he was Woon from The Moon that Embraces the Sun, but I stayed for the engaging drama that has strong actresses and a great script. The eye candy is an extra treat. I'm adding Unkind Women to my regular must-watch dramas.

Hyde, Jekyll, and I has an unusual romantic intrigue. Robin and Seo Jin are two distinct people, and Ha Na knows which one she loves. So how do you handle this kind of triangle love when the two guys are actually one awesome Hyun Bin? Can you marry one and not the other? I think a serious conversation with the three needs to take place, but how?

Have you watched the acclaimed movie The Attorney, starring Song Kang Ho and Im Si Wan? It's a drama with a serious subject, but it is totally absorbing and captivating. It reminds us that one person can make a difference. For me, a most touching moment actually came after the movie: I learned that the movie was based on real events, and the attorney depicted in the poignant drama, the lone fighter who stood up for human rights, would eventually become South Korea's 9th president.

In other news:

Taiwanese drama The Way We Were, starring Ruby Lin and Leroy Young, will start on Wednesday, March 18.  Once again, I wish they would just translate the Chinese title directly because "16 Summers" is a lovely title.

I believe this is the first time we have a drama from Ruby Lin on DramaFever, but she has been one of the topmost popular actresses in Chinese-language dramas ever since she played a royal princess who was lost at birth and had to find her way back to her rightful place in the palace. The Way We Were takes place in a modern setting where she has to wait for her one true love after a sad twist of fate. Will she finally find happiness?

This weekend's feature movie is the a gripping, coming-of-age movie, 19, starring Huh Yi Jae and T.O.P.

If you've been waiting to marathon Aim High, get started because the drama ended on a happy ending all around.

Don't forget, on March 24, you can hang out with Kim Woo Bin! Find out more HERE.

#5 surprise - Kim Woo Bin's The Technicians movie was #12. This is quite a feat because a movie is just one episode, so it's very difficult for a movie to move up into the Top 10 list. Congratulations to Woo Bin!
