We have a new Weekly Top 10 for you. Would you believe me if I say a new show not only jumped into the top 10, but also landed all the way in the top 3 in its first week of showing? I'm not kidding! Guess which show that is. And what about you? Which are your favorite shows now?

I know sometimes we feel so swamped by marketing blitz that we either get turned off or feel forced to join the crowd to watch a show that's been highly promoted. I mean, I wouldn't watch any show just because it stars Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk, right? However, the marketing is absolutely right on target here. Pinocchio is fantastic right from the get-go, and I was hooked within the first few minutes. Since it is still early in the show, I don't want to give much away. My first impression was one key part of the show reminded me of the Slumdog Millionaire movie, but at the critical moment, there was a unique, unexpected twist that was perfectly delivered by Lee Jong Suk.

My personal top 3 favorite shows right now, the ones that I can't wait to watch, the ones that I would even stop in the middle of writing to catch a new episode, are Tomorrow's CantabileBirth of a Beauty, and Pinocchio. It's not that other shows aren't good. Some of them I just haven't had time to catch up because of my schedule. For instance, I'd love to run a marathon with Choi Jin Hyuk's Pride and Prejudice.

In other news:

Pride and Prejudice is only showing one episode this week due to conflict with a soccer game in Korea. (I'd take Choi Jin Hyuk over a soccer game!)

A 12-episode only short series Doll House, described as a psychological drama, also starts Monday this week. Sign up HERE for alerts.

If you like Seo In Guk in the modern world, then you'll like him even more playing a Joseon crown prince. Get ready for The King's Face, which starts Wednesday, November 19. Sign up HERE for new episode alerts.

A must-have supernatural talent is apparently the ability to smell someone's laundry and hear that person's thoughts. Find out more from cute drama Sweden Laundry, starring Song Ha Yoon and Teen Top's Choi Jong Hyun (Changjo). Sign up HERE for new episode alerts.

This week's film, The Face Reader, sounds like a really interesting and suspenseful thriller that takes place in the Joseon era. Sign up HERE for alerts. If you are a premium member, you get to watch it as early as Wednesday.
