It's sad to see favorite shows leave the Top 10, but when new and compelling shows take their place, it's a good thing! Two brand new entries climbed into the Top 10, and the list got rearranged. Let's see what the winners are this week. Let me give you a hint: The two leading men who newly entered the Top 10 have the same initials in their names.

Tomorrow's Cantabile has quickly become one of my top favorite shows to watch, and it's not just because Joo Won is a handsome actor with great comedic timing. I actually feel glad that I don't have to compare it to the manga, the anime, or the much-praised Japanese live-action drama. So everything is new and fresh to me, but it also helps to know that it is based on a popular story. I watched Boys Over Flowers first before searching out Taiwan's Meteor Garden and Japan's Hana Yori Dango, and I can appreciate what makes each series great. The only thing that I am a little concerned about so far is how young and naive our heroine is portrayed to be. It's difficult to imagine how they can become a romantic couple. There is no doubt, however, that Shim Eun Kyung is an amazing actress.

In  My Lovable Girl, the age gap between Rain and Krystal was what concerned me, but at the end of episode 8 leading to 9, their kiss was sensitively handled and touching. Now the question is, is this couple meant to be together? I like how the romance has developed between the two characters, but I also think Se Na (Krystal) and Shi Woo (L) can make a convincing couple too. They definitely have chemistry. Although I usually want a happy ending, I'm actually hesitant here. I know it's a bit too early to guess the ending when we are only at the mid-point, but I really wouldn't mind it if the scriptwriter takes the courage to do something that surprises us and not just deliver a crowd-pleasing happy ending.

Love Myself or You, however, ended with an unabashedly sweet, happy ending for everyone. In addition to the lead couple, there were at least 3 other couples who delivered a lot of hilarious scenes. One of the lines used for confessing love is quite memorable: "When are you going to eat me up?" This series has been very pleasant to watch.

In other news:

Lee Hong Ki's Modern Farmer started yesterday, and it promises to grow lots of laughter.

New Taiwanese drama series  Aim High will be simulcast starting October 24. It should be interesting to see Lego Lee (In A Good Way) and Chris Wang (Love Family) in the same show.

I have to put in a good word for  High School Love On. Although I haven't had a chance to watch it, I've read excellent comments about the show, and its continued steady rise up the Top 10 is definitely impressive.
