DramaFever Weekly Top 10 for October 6 to October 12, 2014
Joo Won, where have you been in my life? I have a confession to make about him, and I can't wait to see him in Tomorrow's Cantabile, which started yesterday! Which leading show has the gorgeous guy in his bachelor pad in this photo? Are you ready for the new Top 10 list? Let's see which shows captured our heart last week.
How do I count the ways I love My Lovable Girl? I love seeing Rain as a mature man. At this point, I think Krystal is more infatuated with a fascinating man than being truly in love with him. I like L too, and he is becoming a strong contender in the triangle. There is definitely more suspense (and tears) to come even though this is a romance drama. I also love the quiet music in the background, a perfect companion to the romantic relationship that is gently developing. And I love Dal Bong, the golden retriever.
Did you watch the movie Steal My Heart starring Joo Won this past weekend? I have a confession to make. This was my first time watching Joo Won, and now he's stolen my heart as well. (Sorry, Gong Yoo, Lee Min Ho and Hyun Bin. I'll reserve a place for you hot guys, but you need to come back to drama first.)
The point is, now I need to make room for Tomorrow's Cantabile. I was hoping The Night Watchman's Journal would finish last week, but the evil spirits just kept on winning, and they had to extend the show to 4 more episodes to allow the good guys more time to regroup to defeat evil. This show has been incredible in coming up with a bag full of imaginative tricks. I kept thinking, when is the serpent dragon going to fly? I love that special effect. Also, I've been wondering whether the King, Prince Rin's father, really died. We haven't seen his ghost, so maybe he is still alive? With this show, it seems anything is possible.
Even though I already saw Absolute Boyfriend when I was visiting Taiwan, I couldn't resist watching it again on DramaFever. The difference is I now look at the subtitles to compare with the dialogues. Let me tell you, we have some great subbers who consistently help us understand these great Asian dramas. Also, Jiro Wang's abs are worth watching again. He was truly born to play that role. And of course, Gu Hye Sun is really funny playing a girl who's received the surprise of her life.
In other news:
Love Myself or You is ending later this week with episode 22. Episode 21 was funny and cute. I can see a happy ending coming and look forward to seeing how it will happen.
Here are last week's Weekly Top 10 shows in order of most popular:
