DramaFever Weekly Top 10 for September 28, 2015
Noble, My Love is cuteness overload! I was so happy with the new drama that I actually hoped that it'll be the new #1, despite my love for Yong Pal and Twenty Again. So let's find out about the new Top 10 Most Watched Shows this week.
Congratulations to Twenty Again for keeping the crown this week. The story is simply rocking, and it's not just No Ra (Choi Ji Woo) who is taking a new direction. I'd admit that initially I was only enticed by by Lee Sang Yoon, but the entire cast has been perfect.
Noble, My Love is such a surprising delight that it zoomed to #6. I felt like I was living in a "Beauty and the Beast" fairy tale with our cute leads, except that the beast is Sung Hoon, who generously showed off his abs within 2 minutes of the first episode. The music accompanying the fan service was simply glorious and hilarious. You can see more of the romantic hottie HERE. I also love Kim Jae Kyung as our veterinarian beauty who tames the beast. At only 15 minutes per episode (even less without the intro and credits), this is a sweet and instantly gratifying web drama that I actually wish could be fully developed into a more robust story with side romances for the equally cute supporting characters and more.
The Scholar Who Walks the Night reached a satisfying ending. Yes, it's safe to watch if you've been waiting on the sidelines. I'm so in awe of Lee Joon Ki, who has really impressed us once again in a stellar performance as a vampire who's had to endure hardship and battle unimaginable evil. He just won a well-deserved Hallyu Drama Actor award for The Joseon Gunman at the Seoul International Drama awards on September 11.
Yong Pal made it to #2. The fierce battle between Kim Tae Hee and her conglomerate enemy took place in the 21st century world of computerized stock trading instead of on the battlefields between troops wielding swords and spears. The tension was no less nerve-racking, however. I really cheered for her victory but then felt my heart break for Joo Won. With only 2 episodes left, will there be a happy ending? What do you think?
In other news:
Ever wonder about your first love? Will you recognize him or her after 10 or even 20 years? Fortunately, we are only delayed 2 weeks due to licensing to start watching She Was Pretty on Wednesday, September 30. I've been clearing my schedule for this highly anticipated drama starring Park Seo Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, and Super Junior's Choi Siwon. It will be the last drama for the popular K-pop singer and international star before he enters military service. Get ready!
BIGBANG: 'The R.E.A.L.' 2006 Concert starts Wednesday, September 30. You'll enjoy watching the newly formed K-pop group with T.O.P., Daesung, Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Seungri perform live onstage for the very first time in Seoul in December 2006.
Here are last week's Weekly Top 10 shows in order of popularity:
1. Twenty Again
2. Yong Pal
3. Running Man
4. Oh My Ghostess (exclusive)
5. Heirs (exclusive)
10. EXO Next Door

What is your favorite show now?
I binged through Noble, My Love this weekend and am also tracking Yong Pal, When I See You Again, Scholar Who Walks the Night, and Twenty Again. I'm going to start She Was Pretty the moment it starts on DramaFever. (And also get some sleep, if I can.)
