South Korea is in love with D.O.'s Ko Doo Sik!

According to XSports News, the EXO pretty boy joins the winner's list at the 13th annual Jecheon International Music & Film Festival Awards (JIMFF). The 24 year-old idol earned the JIMFF Star Award for his compelling performance in My Annoying Brother. and Wonder Girls' member Ahn So Hee scored the same acting award for her role in the melodrama A Single Rider. The awards are categorized under OST and Star, and votes are tallied from JIMFF’s executive committee and Korean film directors.The Merciless music directors, Kim Hong Jip and Lee Jin Hee, won in the OST category. 

Even though D.O. and the other talented individuals were already announced, the official awards festival doesn't start until August 10 and runs through August 15. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Cheongpung Resort on August 12 at 8 PM [KST]. 

In such a short amount of time, D.O. has learned so much about capturing the audience through his acting. The chart-topping idol made his acting debut in the 2014 melodrama It's Okay, That's Love and quickly expanded his career into movies. The global audience can't seem to get enough of his adorable face and outstanding talent. Portraying disabled athlete Do Doo Sik must have truly touched hearts because of the prestigious award he is being honored with.
