EXO's Lay to star in Chinese remake of Operation Proposal
Good new for EXO fans! It seems like Lay (To Be A Better Man) is already returning to the small screen after his success with the Chinese drama Mystic Nine. The multi-talented idol has recently been cast as the male lead for a Chinese remake of the popular drama Operation Proposal and will be acting alongside a rising ulzzang actress.
For those of you who are not familiar this drama, Operation Proposal was originally a Japanese drama entitled Operation Love, however, it is more commonly recognized by it's Korean adaptation starring Yoo Seung Ho and Park Eun Bin. The time-traveling romance is about a man who gets a second chance to confess his love to his childhood friend, who is about to marry another man in the present. However, while travelling back in time to various important events in their lives, he finds that changing the past is a lot harder than he anticipated.
In the Chinese adaptation, Lay will be headlining with up-and-coming Chinese actress Chen Duling, who first rose to fame after winning a Chinese college student ulzzang competition. Since the remake has just recently been confirmed little else is known about production or casting, however, filming will begin sometime next month.
Until then, please support Lay and the upcoming drama, along with checking his new song Lose Control, which you can watch the music video for here.
