Facial bone-shaving: How far would you go for the 'perfect' face?
Facial bone contouring surgery is becoming popular among some Asian women to make their square or round faces smaller and therefore deemed "more attractive". A Taiwanese woman has posted her surgery photos in stages from before to after. What do you think about the result?
The 26-year old Taiwanese woman considered her face too large and too round with prominent cheeks. She was even nicknamed “Big pancake face.” She finally decided to go for the facial bone-shaving surgery and has considered the result a success.
The post-surgery recovery took a month and a half. Initially her face was swollen and looked like a blown-up balloon. Eventually she emerged with a new face.
In your opinion, is facial bone-shaving an acceptable step to become "prettier"?
