FIRST LOOK: Sensory Couple, starring Park Yoochun and Shin Se Kyung
What happens when a girl with a sixth sense meets a boy missing most of his? New posters and a trailer are out for the fantasy romantic comedy Sensory Couple, starring Park Yoo Chun and Shin Se Kyung, and they are so cute! Let's take a look.
After a tragic incident that resulted in the murder of his younger sister and the loss of his sense of smell, taste, and touch, Moo Gak (Park Yoo Chun) decides to become a policeman and solve the crime. Meanwhile, a young woman injured and left in a coma after the same incident (Shin Se Kyung) awakens with amnesia and heightened senses, including the ability to see scents. Can a girl with heightened senses and a man with almost none figure out the mystery behind the Barcode Murders that forever changed both their lives?
While I'm sure the drama will have its dark and suspenseful moments, the teaser also makes it look lighthearted and comedic. I wasn't sure about the pairing of Park Yoo Chun and Shin Se Kyung, but I actually think they are really adorable together and seem like they will have great chemistry!
Sensory Couple is based on a webtoon, and the writer for the drama is Lee Hee Myung, who previously worked with Yoochun on Rooftop Prince. The series is planned for an April premiere on SBS following Hyde, Jekyll, and I, and you can sign up for new episode alerts HERE!
