Bromance has become an important staple in Korean dramas. At times friendships between the male characters can be so endearing that viewers come to cheer them on just as much as the main romantic couple. Here are some of my favorite bromantic pairings!

1. Go Nam Soon (Lee Jong Suk) and Park Heung Soo (Kim Woo Bin) in School 2013.

These two are beyond adorable. Not only did their troubled friendship in School 2013 steal the hearts of viewers, but these models turned actors are actual friends in real life! I hope we can see more of their fantastic bromance in future projects.

2. Geol Oh (Yoo Ah In) and Yeo Rim (Song Joong Ki) in Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Who could forget the heartfelt and hilarious friendship between sullen Geol Oh and flamboyant Yeo Rim? These tight friends really knew what it meant to give each other support, regardless of the circumstances. Dramaland could use many more epic bromances like this one!

3. Hwang Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk) Kang Shin Woo (Jung Yong Hwa) and Jeremy (Lee Hong Ki) in You're Beautiful

Nothing quite brings friends closer together than living and working with each other 24 hours a day. These three may have had some trouble due to their common love interest, but their bromantic chemistry as band members stole my heart from the very beginning. Does anyone else wish A.N.Jell was a real band?

Bonus Points: Check out this hilarious scene where Tae Kyung explains what fan fiction is to the innocent Go Mi Nam! It also gives a glimpse at a different kind of bromance...

4. Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) in Heirs

Kim Tan and Young Do may spend the majority of the show fighting over Eun Sang, but their brief moments of friendship really hit the right notes. What's not to love about these two sharing headphones and drinking mango smoothies?

5. Song Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun) and Jin Gook (Ok Taec Yeon) in Dream High

While this is another bromance that was threatened by a girl, these two worked past their romantic troubles to remain close friends. I still laugh about the scene pictured above where Taecyeon's character tries to confirm if Kim Soo Hyun stole his underwear. Nothing quite says friendship like sharing clothing!

See the last great swordsman defend his people and transform a nation in The Joseon Gunman, starring Lee Joon Ki

6. Yoon Yoon Jae (Seo In Guk) and Kang Joon Hee (Hoya) in Answer Me 1997

The bittersweet friendship between Yoon Jae and Joon Hee is a bond that has stayed with me long after I finished Answer Me 1997. If you haven't watched this fantastic drama yet, their unique bromance should be enough reason to check it out!

7. Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) and Cheon Yoon Jae (Ahn Jae Hyun) in My Love From Another Star

While late to developm, the friendship between everyone's favorite alien professor and Song Yi's little brother was adorable to watch. I especially loved how fascinated Yoon Jae was about Min Joon's alien backstory. The E.T. reenactment scene was hilarious!

8. Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) and Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) in Coffee Prince

Last but not least, I had to include Coffee Prince on my list. While these two later develop into an official romantic couple, they have some wonderful moments of bromance while Eun Chan poses as a boy. Their strong underlying friendship is a large part of what makes this pairing so unforgettable!

What is your favorite bromance pairing? Which other epic friendships would you add to this list? Please share your thoughts below!
