Fruit by the foot: Japan loves tropical fruit shoes this spring
As we all look forward to a warm spring after a long, record-breaking winter, it's time to put our jackets and boots away and enjoy dressing light for the first time in what feels like forever. For women, a brand from Japan has lined up a collection of cute tropical fruit shoes that are sure to remind all of us that the Arctic chill is over.
On March 27, Japanese women's brand RANDA will release their Fresh Fruits Collection, a line of seven various shoe styles decorated with bright and juicy tropical fruits. The designs that are part of this colorful collection include pineapple, lemon, grape, mixed fruit, banana, strawberry, cherry, and watermelon. The shoes come as sandals, heels, and even sneakers, so you'll have options no matter what you plan on wearing out. The prices very are reasonable, ranging from 5900 yen to 8900 yen, which is about 49 dollars to 74 dollars. These sweet fruit shoes will be available only at 19 selected stores throughout Japan and on RANDA's website, at http://www.randa.jp/shop/pages/special.aspx.
It may not seem like it yet in some parts of the world, but a warm and fruity spring is definitely right around the corner.
