1. Park Hae Jin has a unique approach to haters
Park Hae Jin, who plays the mysterious Yoo Jung, has an amazing approach to his vicious online anti-fans. For three consecutive years, Park has invited people who attacked him online to do volunteer work with him. The tradition started in 2013, when he sued netizens over malicious comments attacking him and his family. For those who apologized, he dropped the case in exchange for a day of volunteer work. 2. Kim Go Eun's debut project launched her into fame
Talk about starting off with a bang! At age 21, Kim Go Eun (who plays Seol) had never had a part in anything larger than a school production when she met director Jung Ji Woo through mutual friends. He encouraged her to audition for his upcoming movie A Muse. Without time to prepare for the audition, she decided to try it out and ended up beating 300 other actresses for the part and winning a slew of acting awards for her captivating performance.
Since her debut in 2012, she has continued to rake in the acting accolades for films like Monster and Coin-Locker Girl.
3. Park Hae Jin is a fashion designer
Did you know that Park Hae Jin is a fashion designer in addition to being an actor? In 2014, he collaborated with Chinese brand V-Modern to create an exclusive collection.
4. Kim Go Eun grew up abroad
Kim Go Eun spent her formative years living abroad. At the age of four, her family moved to China, where she lived for ten years. Director Jung Ji Woo credited her international upbringing with helping her be independent and not easily influenced by others.
5. Seo Kang Joon technically made his acting debut in To the Beautiful You
While the web series After School: Lucky or Not was Seo Kang Joon's first main acting role, you can actually see him in episodes 3 and 7 of teen series To the Beautiful You in a teeeeensy role as a fellow student. Did you recognize him? In Cheese in the Trap, he plays the foul-tempered Baek In Ho.
6. Lee Sung Kyung planned on becoming a pianist.
Lee Sung Kyung may be portraying Baek In Ha these days, but acting wasn't even on her radar initially. She was attending a music school as a piano student until the urging of friends and family convinced her to try out for the modeling show that launched her career.
7. Seo Kang Joon is part of the idol-actor group 5urprise
Seo Kang Joon is a member of Fantagio group 5urprise, which is unique in being the first idol-actor group to debut. All five members made their debut as actors as well as singers with the musical web series After School: Lucky or Not.
8. Lee Sung Kyung appeared on King of Masked Singer as "Blue Crab Holding Flowers"
Lee Sung Kyung loves to sing when she's alone, so her colleagues suggested that she appear on the singing variety series King of Masked Singer. The judges, assuming she was an idol, were shocked when she finally revealed her identity.
9. Park Min Ji started as a child actor
Park Min Ji, who plays Seol's best friend Bo Ra, started acting at the young age of 15. Interestingly enough, one of her very first roles required her to act out a childbirth scene as a teen mother in the film Jenny, Juno. She later said that she was so invested in the part that she felt as though she really had lost something after the finished filming.
10. Nam Joo Hyuk plays Suhyun's dream guy in the Akdong Musician MVs
Nam Joo Hyuk is pretty new to the acting scene, only making his modeling debut in 2013. Before he caught his big acting breaks in Surplus Princess and School 2015, you may have recognized him as Suhyun's crush in the AMKU music videos for "200%" and "Give Love."
