Girls' Day Hyeri is hospitalized for meningitis
Poor girl! Hyeri, the hit Answer Me 1988 actress and K-pop group Girls' Day member, is sick and hospitalized. A representative from her agency Dream Tea Entertainment said on March 7, 2016, that "Hyeri is resting and will get better after a couple more days in the hospital."
On Sunday, a day after she met with fans at the Answer Me 1988 drama concert, Hyeri, suffering from high fever and headache, checked into a university hospital in Seoul. At the time, a Dream Tea representative told sources that she was "feeling under the weather because of her busy schedule." At the hospital, she was diagnosed for meningitis. Meningitis is an inflammation of the brain and spinal cord membranes that is typically caused by an infection.
It seems as if she had too much on her plate! Just recently, she filmed photoshoots with Elle Bride and 1st Look. She was also in talks to film a new drama Entertainers (Ddanddara) with Ji Sung. Hyeri has cancelled all of her schedules and is focusing on getting better soon. Her agency says they will try their best to help Hyeri rest.
We hope you feel better, Hyeri!
