Gong Yoo of Goblin fame covered the January issue of Elle Korea. Check out his new hairdo, the magazine covers, his photo shoot from L.A.'s beach town, Venice Beach, and get updates on Gong Yoo’s post-Goblin life!

New year, new Gong Yoo. The Goblin actor, Louis Vuitton, and Elle Korea traveled to L.A. earlier this winter for the magazine’s photo shoot. On the two covers below, Gong Yoo shows off his longer, puffed-up hair.

In the first photo, Gong Yoo gazes at us warmly, whereas the second one has him smiling widely, presumably happy to be in sunny southern California.

At the photo shoot, Gong Yoo actively shared his ideas on the photo spots and the new hairdo, Elle Korea shared. In the accompanying interview, Gong Yoo positioned himself as a modest actor instead of the lover of all that he is.

While updating the magazine on his life after Goblin, Gong Yoo told Elle, “You know how you sometimes break down when the work gets completed after staying busy and nervous for a while? Physical and mental pain hit me all at once. I broke down, endured, and let go. I returned and spent some time with myself.”

On his next project, Gong Yoo didn’t give out the specifics, but it sounds like he’s actively looking. “I knew it would be hard, but I wanted to do a film, but I couldn’t find any projects. I’m in talks with some great people about a new project that I want to become a part of.”

We hope his recent trip to L.A. was refreshing and helped him prepare for the new year. By the way, 2017 marks the tenth anniversary of Coffee Prince. Click here to check out where Gong Yoo and the rest of the Coffee Prince cast members are now!
