For years, variety shows like Running Man and Infinity Challenge have brought joy to viewers all over the world. However, we often forget the cost of the entertainment that we take for granted. For the first time, Ha Ha has opened up about the serious injuries that he and the Running Man cast have experienced over the years.

Ha Ha began by revealing his personal struggles with his health. Because of his participation in shows like Infinity Challenge and Running Man, the comedian had to undergo surgery to correct his seventh spinal disc, which had been seriously damaged due to strenuous activity. He elaborated, stating, "My seventh disc burst seriously. But I couldn't say that I was not well. I thought everyone went through the same thing. It could be that my doctor was exaggerating, but he told me I was almost paralyzed."

The comedian proceeded to discuss how fellow Running Man members Yoo Jae Suk and Gary have been affected by the show's crazy antics. According to Ha Ha, Yoo Jae Suk has experienced continuous issues with his ankle, which has been twisted multiple times, along with his back, neck, and fingers. On the other hand, Gary has pain along with limited movement in his shoulders due to a torn ligament.

When explaining why these injuries go unnoticed by the fans and the media, Ha Ha stated, "For variety show members, such as us, who use our bodies, it's like we're athletes. But we don't have time to recover. If we get seriously injured, that gets edited out. There are things we just can't talk about, since making others laugh is our priority."

It is unfortunate that these entertainers have to go through such length for their fans, but it is a relief the members of Running Man will finally have some time to recuperate after the show is done.
