Husband tows wife in homemade ambulance for ten years
Doing anything nice for your partner in a relationship is always a beautiful thing. But one farmer in Liaoning, China has gone way beyond anyone's expectations of altruism in relationships by towing his wife in a homemade ambulance to and from the hospital for the past ten years.
Yao Hongyou has pulled his wife in the DIY ambulance for almost 50,000 kilometers (over 31,000 miles) in the last decade. The twice-a-week trip to the hospital is a little less than 25 kilometers one-way (roughly 15.5 miles), where his wife receives dialysis treatment.
Even more impressive is the fact that the homemade ambulance, which looks like a buggy/ hospital bed, comes with medicine, bedpan, and oxygen bags. It's really amazing to see someone that dedicated to his significant other.
