Was this for real? Nine gorgeous flower boys recently gathered for the Hwarang: The Beginning script reading session, including Park Seo JoonLee Kwang SooPark Hyung Sik (ZE:A), Choi Minho (SHINee), Do Ji Han, Jo Yoon Woo and Kim Tae Hyung (BTS's V).

On Apr. 5, the much-anticipated historical K-drama's crews got ready for a fall premiere. At the script reading session, the flower boys' synergy was visibly present according to reports. Lee Kwang Soo, who is making a special appearance in Hwarang, also showed up and practiced with the rest of flower boys. The session lasted for four hours, but the hours seemed to fly by.

She Was Pretty actor Park Suh Joon breathed his character Moo Myeong (literally means anonymity) to life. The staff and crew admired Go Ah Ra's portrayal of Aro. Park Hyung Shik successfully played king Jinheung, who is serious and boisterous simultaneously. In addition, SHINee's Choi Minho played playboy Suho.

In the drama, a group of Hwarangs (elite young knights) get to know each other and fight for their kingdom of Silla. 

The whole drama will be pre-produced, and the drama will air in the second half of 2016. Can't wait for the Hwarang premiere? Check out other flower boy historical K-dramas!
