Madina Memet impressed the viewers when she played the Mermaid Princess in the epic Ice Fantasy. The beautiful actress is now in General and I, the thrilling historical romance drama starring Angelababy and Wallace Chung. Find out more about her unique character and story.

(Spoiler Alert)

General and I has enthralled the viewers with a captivating saga of romance and adventure during a turbulent era in ancient China. As the story involves the conflicts among four warring kingdoms, the drama has a huge ensemble cast. If you have been watching Chinese dramas, you just might catch some familiar faces.

One of them is the beautiful actress, Madina Memet (also known by her Chinese name as Mai Dina), who is from the Uyghur region in China. (Read more about her ethnic background HERE.)

In Ice Fantasy, she portrays the Mermaid Princess who loves but is rejected by Ka Suo, the Ice Prince. Her unique character and her enchanting mermaid costumes left an indelible impression among the viewers.

Imagine our delighted surprise when Madina emerged in General and I, starting in episode 10.

She plays Yang Feng, a dear friend of Bai Ping Ting (Angelababy). The two were childhood friends in the Yan State, but Yang Feng is now living in the Liang State after marrying a (rather handsome) general there.

The twist in the story is that even though Yang Feng and Bai Ping Ting are best friends, how will their friendship be tested when the Liang and Jin kingdoms battle each other?.

Remember, Yang Feng's husband, Zi Yi (played by Qi Hang), is Liang's military commander, while Bai Ping Ting's true love, Chu Bai Jie (Wallace Chung), is Jin's top general.

Which will you choose, loyalty to your best friend or to the king?

We are also wondering how the romance between Yang Feng and her general will be affected in the intrigue.
