The highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens is coming out soon, so I thought it would be fun to think about if Star Wars were a K-drama or K-movie and put together a dream cast! Who would you choose to battle it out for the fate of the galactic universe? May the Force be with you!

Very little is known so far about the plot of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and its characters, so this K-drama dream cast is based mostly on looks, previous acting roles, and what we do know about the new characters. And it is purely for fun!

Note: There may be some spoilers below if you haven't seen Star Wars.

Scroll through to see who we choose to represent the Resistance and the First Order in an imaginary Star Wars K-drama and then share your own choices below!

Finn - Seo In Guk

Seo In Guk would definitely be my top pick to play Storm Trooper-turned-Resistance fighter Finn — the first of our three new lead protagonists. Seo In Guk was amazing as Kang Woo in The Master's Sun and showed a super intense side as Prince Gwanghae in The King's Face, so I know he could definitely pull off the role of Finn!

Other casting options: Lee Hyun WooPark Bo Gum

Rey - Kim Seul Gi

Kim Seul Gi has some serious acting experience, most recently as Shin Soon Ae in Oh My Ghostess. Her acting talent and experience definitely put her at the top of my list to play Rey, the new female protagonist from the junkyard planet Jakku. I would love to see what Kim Seul Gi could bring to the role!

Other casting options: Shin Se KyungJung Eun Ji

Kylo Ren - Shin Sung Rok

This one was an easy one! Who better to play newcomer baddie Kylo Ren than the ultimate K-drama baddie Shin Sung Rok?! If you need proof of how perfect Shin Sung Rok would be as Kylo Ren, look no further than his performances as the deadly Lee Jae Kyung in My Love From Another Star or the maniacal Kang Do Young in Liar Game. Case closed.

Other casting options: None

Poe Dameron - Kim Woo Bin

It has been revealed that Poe Dameron is a pilot and a leader in the Resistance's fight against the First Order. To play such an epic and important character, I'd choose the magnificent Kim Woo Bin. He has already proven his leadership skills and resourcefulness in The Technicians and would definitely make for a great X-Wing Fighter pilot!

Other casting options: Choi Jin HyukKim Soo Hyun

Luke Skywalker - Ha Jung Woo

While Ha Jung Woo is not quite as old as the infamous Luke Skywalker would be at the time of this movie, thirty years after the Battle of Endor...but this is a dream cast so let's also assume that Ha Jung Woo would be able to age another twenty years or so as well because he would be perfect as Luke! For proof of his Jedi-like skills, look no further than his role as "Hawaii Pistol" in Assassination. Absolutely epic!

Other casting options: Lee Byung Hun

Leia Organa - Kim Sung Ryung

While there is certainly no replacement for Carrie Fisher as the beloved Princess Leia, Kim Sung Ryung could certainly hold her own as a General and Resistance leader. Most people will know Kim Sung Ryung from Heirs. She is an extremely accomplished and talented actress who would bring a lot of strength and poise to the role.

Other casting options: Jin KyungYoon Yoo SunKim Nam Joo

Han Solo - Lee Byung Hun

Who better to play Han Solo than action star Lee Byung Hun? He's strong and commanding but also romantic and would be perfect as Solo. Like Ha Jung Woo as Luke Skywalker, Lee Byung Hun may have to magically age another twenty years or so, but we're dreaming here!

Other casting options: Choi Min SikHyun Bin

Supreme Leader Snoke - Choi Jin Ho

Snoke is the Supreme Leader of the First Order, a powerful figure on the dark side of the Force, and the master of Kylo Ren. Choi Jin Ho, who you may not know by name but definitely by his face, would make a fantastic Supreme Leader Snoke! Even though Choi Jin Ho is currently playing Chief Secretary Min Byung Wook (John Kim's babysitter) in Oh My Venus, he has also played many baddies such as law maker Park Seung Gu in Gangnam Blues and Director Jang in Liar Game. He would definitely be able to pull off the First Order leader. I know I would definitely be scared of Choi Jin Ho!

Other casting options: Yoo Oh SungChoi Min Sik

General Hux - Park Ki Woong

As the confident and powerful General Hux, a leader in the First Order, Park Ki Woong would be perfect! There is definitely a dark side to Park Ki Woong that showed through in Secretly Greatly and Bridal Mask and he could tap into that to play the fierce commander of the Starkiller Base.

Other casting options: Choi Jin Hyuk
