Getting to work or school during rush hour in Tokyo apparently isn’t easy. Commuters piled and literally stuffed into train cars like packed sardines have been captured in photos through various decades, and not much has changed. I recently came across an amazing collection of photos of people in Tokyo captured during the crazy over crowded commute. The awesome part about this is some of these photos were captured during the '60s and '70s, while the rest are fairly current.

The following photos are apart of a series entitled Tokyo Compression by Michael Wolf. I know these photos look as if they could be from a freaky scene in The Master's Sun, but these are real photos or real people in Tokyo just trying to make it to their next destination. #StressfulAs...

Looking at these photos I thought of only two things; What it must have been like trying to get out of train at your stop, and who that baby belonged to. o_0
