Incredibly generous man has been volunteering to give children rides to school on his raft for 27 years
Sometimes heroes go unnoticed, but luckily someone found out about a man in Yibin, China who has volunteered to take children on his raft across a river to school for the last 27 years.
The man's name is Luo Guanglin, but he has become known as the "ferry man" for his almost three decades of selfless deeds. The man has been helping children get across the treacherous Erjia River to go to class.
Without the raft, the children are forced to walk across a slick path of rocks on the river to get to the other side. A villager told a reporter that Luo has been shuttling the children to school for 27 years without taking a single penny.
