Is Ji Chang Wook going to experience a hate triangle in The K2?
When we think of conflicted relationships between one male and two females in a K-drama, we usually think of romantic love triangles, but is there such a thing as a hate triangle? It looks like that is exactly what Ji Chang Wook is in for in his upcoming action melodrama The K2! In the intense new teasers, we see the bodyguard taking conflicting orders from Yoona and Song Yoon Ah's characters.
The K2, Kim Je Ha (Ji Chang Wook) is a former secret service agent who gets hired as a bodyguard by Choi Yoo Jin (Song Yoon Ah), the premier First Lady candidate and the daughter of a chaebol family. Behind Choi Yoo Jin’s kind and friendly demeanor, though, lies a woman with deep ambition and a ruthless willingness to pursue it at all costs. Amidst his struggles and her ambitions, there is also Go An Na (Yoona), the reclusive and hidden daughter of the presidential hopeful, who, due to a childhood trauma, is unable to communicate with the world and only sees love as a tool for revenge.
In the first teaser, we get a glimpse of an intense scene between the three characters. For unknown reasons Kim Je Ha holds a gun to Choi Yoo Jin's head, and when he hesitates, rather than trying to intercede, Go An Na does something unexpected:
In the second teaser, we see Kim Je Ha receiving simultaneous messages from the two women, who both seem to think they they control him and own his loyalty. But which woman will he decide to protect in the end?
