Italian circus paints two dogs and tries to pass them off as pandas
A small circus in northern Italy was recently busted by the police for painting two Chow Chow dogs to look like pandas. The circus was passing off the dogs as pandas and charging people to take pictures with them.
Fortunately, the authorities were able to successfully recover the male and female Chow Chows. The puppies had painted black patches on them, but the animals were said to still be in good health.
The dogs were originally from Hungary, and the circus owner is facing a possible sentence for bringing in the animals without the proper documentation. The owner is already facing possible charges for animal cruelty as well.
