During his visit to Korea, Jackie Chan reminisced about the time he spent in Seoul between the ages of 18 and 20. The international superstar revealed that during his few years in Korea, he was in a serious relationship with a Korean woman. The relationship lasted eight years, and Chan confessed on MBC's Knee Drop Guru that he would have married her if long-distance communication had been easier back then.
How did the two meet? Jackie said: "One day I got stuck at a nightclub because of the curfew, and while there, I fell in love with a woman at first sight." They were able to carry on with their relationship when he returned to Hong Kong. He recalled, "At that time, I had to go to a telephone office to call her, I used to say 'Honey, is it cold there? Kiss-kiss.'"
Eventually distance and a tight budget for international phone calls got in the way, and the relationship ended.
Have you ever been in a long-distance relationship? Do you think they can work?
