It's official! Jaejoong has taken the lead role in the upcoming political thriller Spy. He'll be tackling the role of Sun Woo, a character who is described as a genius national intelligence agent who works for the NIS (National Intelligence Service). Sun Woo's mother, played by actress and Roommate cast member Bae Jong Ok, is a "former North Korean intelligence agent," which makes the storyline even that much more interesting!

See Bae Jong Ok on the latest episode of Roommate:

Apparently, Sun Woo is investigating the execution of a North Korean general while there's a North Korean agent who is a genius in his own right who clashes with him. Meanwhile, casting continues, and The Night Watchman's Journal leading lady Goo Sung Hee is currently considering taking the role of Sun Woo's girlfriend.

Spy is set to premiere some time in January, and I'm super excited at the possibility that just maybe we'll get to see JJ on Roommate! Wouldn't it be awesome if some of the cast visited Jong Ok on set and JJ was there?!

Anyway, since Goo Sung Hee is in talks for the role, do you think she's a good match for JJ?
