Japanese building has winding, circular escalator
A commercial building in Yokohama, Japan has something I didn't even know could exist until now: a circular and winding escalator. Pics of the amazing invention were recently posted by Twitter user @banb_ko, and the photos have gone viral.
The winding escalator looks like it's in a mall or a shopping center in Yokohama, and it's pretty incredible to see how seamlessly the invention works. I know for a fact that if I ever get to see this escalator in person, I will ride it until I get sick because it's such an ingenious idea.
The photos of the circular, moving staircase have been retweeted almost 15,000 times, a number I'm sure will only get bigger. I just hope that buildings all over the world start constructing imaginative escalators like the one in Yokohama.
