Japanese fans get ready for new animated Dragon Ball feature
On April 18, movie theaters across Japan will be packed with fans of Dragon Ball who have been waiting in anticipation for a new feature film. Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of F, the 19th film in the Dragon Ball franchise, will be shown in both 2D and 3D, with Freeza making his return.
Along with the usual gang of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, Krillin, and both Beerus and Whis, Freeza will be making his return. With the two new characters Sorbet and Tagoma as his servants, Freeza is ready to get his revenge on the Saiyans, and Peace on Earth will be no more.
Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama has called upon Japanese rock band Maximum the Hormones for the music. They have a song titled "F," which already happens to be about Freeza. This new film, like the 2013 Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods, will tell a brand new story.
Watch Seo In Guk and Shin Sung Rok use face reading to place a rightful king on the throne in The King’s Face:
Those who purchase tickets in advance will receive an original, limited edition earphone jack strap of either Goku or Freeza, designed by Toriyama himself.
April 18 couldn't come any sooner for Japanese Dragon Ball fans.
