Japanese whiskey named best in the world
Normally when you think of the best whiskey in the world, you immediately think of Scotland. But it looks like Japan has just entered the whiskey conversation in a very big way.
The world-renowned Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2015 named Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013 the top whiskey in the world with a score of 97.5 out of 100. Murray describes the whiskey as “near indescribable genius” with a “light, teasing spice."
