The Admiral, starring Choi Min Sik of Oldboy and Lucy, has been the biggest Korean movie of the year, breaking Korea’s box office record. Luckily for American fans, as part of a special pre-KCON event, there will be a screening of The Admiral at CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles, California this Thursday, August 7th at 7pm.



The Admiral tells the true story of Korea's revered strategist, Admiral Yi Sunshin, who led an astonishing military victory using only 13 battle ships to lure over 300 Japanese ships into a deadly trap, securing an unlikely victory for Korea during the Joseon Era in 1597.
