One of the first idol groups of the Hallyu wave, JYJ, will be performing at the 18th presidential inauguration ceremony.
According to the committee preparing for the inauguration, they will be inviting artists to sing hit songs of each era to bring together the past and present generations. JYJ will be representing the years from 1990 to 2000, singing songs such as "I Know" by Seo Taiji and Boys along with a remix of various 90s hit songs. International artist Psy will also appear in the ceremony singing his own hit songs such as "Champion" and "Gangnam Style."
A representative of C-Jes Entertainment said, "Thank you for inviting them as the representative for a national ceremony. We will promise to thoroughly prepare and put on a great show."
