A couple weeks ago I wrote a post titled "Are You Addicted to K-Dramas?
" To which everyone obviously answered a resounding "YES, YES WE ARE HOPELESSLY FOREVER ADDICTED!"
The post got sooo many comments (yay, K-drama addicts unite! I'm so proud of you all for admitting your addictions...that IS the first step, after all!) and we had a really great time reading all your hilarious add-ons. However, there were just a few comments I read that made me lift an eyebrow...or two...in shock! My dear, fellow K-drama watchers, I understand your addiction but LOL, this is a little bit crazy.
Let's start with Veronica here. She has a typical K-drama addiction where she's slowly forgetting about cable entirely. Yes, I must agree internet bill > cable bill but VERONICA don't FORGET to pay! Late fees are no joke -__- Also ummm watching Running Man
from Episode 1? o_o That is quite a goal! AJA AJA HWA-TING VERONICA!
Now here we have Jessica. Dearest Jessica, us Kdrama addicts know time is valuable (each hour is a precious episode!), so please stop constantly checking for new episodes and simply sign up for our new episode alerts! You'll get an email whenever there's a new episode out so that cuts out a lot of "constantly checking" for K-drama time (:
Next is Patricia. Patricia seems to have quite a serious case of K-drama addiction as she is exhibiting multiple symptoms: losing sleep, skipping meals, watching everywhere, and even converting others! Be careful with those historical dramas Patricia...they're long and epic and ADDICTION IS SERIOUS!
Liz here has classic symptoms as both Veronica and Patricia...except...she's taking it a step further by saying, "FORGET YOU FOOD!" Is PB&J sustainable as dinner?! o.o Liz please respond and let us know if you are still alive and well!
Jeeze, I thought I was bad but...DREAMING in Korean?! I can't even...how do you dream in a language you don't understand?! This is a new level of addiction that I have not seen before! o.o
Hristy! Other than having a really cute name, you are also really an addict! Hristy here is a good example of an addict who converts others...yes, admit it...you want a partner to fangirl with so you administer addiction-level dosages of dramas to your family and friends! Tsk tsk, but congratulations...it's really the best feeling when they convert n___n
Oh dear...another converter! This one with a formidable setup of K-drama stations! Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, AND CAR?! I'm a little worried as to why you need one there but uh, to each their own I suppose. I just hope you're not the one driving Tammy! o.o
OMG Kristina, 72 shows since last September is no joke. From one K-drama addict to the other...I am THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED! Now, how many of those shows do you remember?!
RASHIDA! You must go to school! Now I feel personally responsible for corrupting young minds -__- You are the future of this world! Please pay attention in class LOL
Oh dear...looks like it's not just our youth! It's also our workforce! We have a serious epidemic on our hands here....K-drama addictions could very well alter our world as we know it!
Well here's a more efficient way to go about it! Get all your stuff done ASAP so you can have the whole day to vegetate in front of the TV! Now how great is that...a POSITIVE addiction symptom! (Also meeting Jang Dong Gun in real life...ummm AWESOME!)
Whoa there...I think this addict has outdone us all o.o
OMG nevermind...just when you thought it couldn't get any crazier we have Dorica here who is afraid of dying because she will MISS THE KDRAMAS TO COME! But at least she knows it's a serious problem LOL. Dorica, I think you get the gold medal here.
Ok...I think I gave the prize prematurely again....
Perhaps Latonia can give all of us some advice? It's true, we must go find either Dr. Lee Min Ho, Dr. Jang Hyuk, Dr. Lee Bum Soo, or Dr. Lee Byung Hun for a checkup....NOW!
Yes yes, I'm gonna get help now.
I'm gonna go see...Doctor... Jin

Happy drama watching!
