Starring Heirs' Kim Woo Bin and Architecture 101's Suzy (Miss A), Uncontrollably Fond (함부로 애틋하게) is already one of the most-anticipated K-dramas of 2016.

A KBS official shared today that KBS is discussing plans to air Uncontrollably Fond as a Wednesday-Thursday series with an approximate premiere date of May 2016.

Uncontrollably Fond features Suzy and Kim Woo Bin as a couple who re-encounter each other years later. Kim Woo Bin plays Shin Joon Young, a supercilious top star, and Suzy plays No Eul, a subservient yet snobby documentary producer.

It seems only natural that Kim Woo Bin plays a Hallyu star. Suzy, however, is expected to overthrow her pure, innocent image to play a somewhat comical character who gives up her sense of justice and turns submissive for money. (Related: Kim Woo Bin and Suzy pair up for new romance drama)

Uncontrollably Fond is Kim Woo Bin’s first drama since Heirs, and Suzy’s first since Gu Family Book. Suzy and Kim Woo Bin focused on the movies in the past year: Kim Woo Bin with Twenty and Suzy with The Hymn (도리화가).

Uncontrollably Fond is the latest work of scriptwriter Lee Kyung Hee, who has written hit dramas like Nice Guy, Thank You, A Love to Kill and I’m Sorry, I Love You.
