Happy lunar new year! Saturday, Jan. 28, marked the New Year’s Day in the lunar calendar. Koreans usually celebrate this day with family and food. Three generations of family members get together, eat rice cake soup and say hello to the ancestors.

The New Year’s Day also marks the start of the year of rooster. Here’s a brief rundown of the Chinese zodiac signs. The Chinese zodiac signs consist of 12 animals that represent each year.
