10 Korean celebrity couples who have confirmed their relationships in 2015
Love must be in the air in South Korea because 2015 has been jam-packed with celebrity dating announcements! Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah are the most recent celebrity couple to confirm their relationship status, but they aren't the only ones to announce their dating to the world. Here are 10 Korean celebrity couples who have confirmed their relationships in 2015:
The two met while shooting for Giordano, and, after Dispatch released photos of their secret dates, the two confirmed on July 22 that they are, in fact, dating. Best of luck to the new couple!
I don't know if you've heard, but Lee Min Ho and Suzy are dating....In what might have been the biggest K-celeb story of the year, Hallyu hotshots Lee Min Ho and Miss A's Suzy confirmed their relationship status in March after sneaky ole Dispatch caught them dating abroad.
This one's just adorable. Surplus Princess costars Ohn Joo Wan and Jo Bo Ah decided to start dating in real life several months after the completion of their drama. I love when onscreen chemistry translates off-screen! They also announced their relationship in March.
Speaking of costars who announced their relationship in March, these two met on the set of Two Weeks and started dating a year later. He may have lost the girl in the drama, but they ended up together in real life!
5. Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin
Big Bang's Taeyang met actress Min Hyo Rin on the set of his "1AM" music video, and they confirmed the relationship last month. He said she's his first real girlfriend. Awwwww!
6. Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan
The Girls' Generation member and her boyfriend, a pitcher for the Hanshin Tigers, were also technically "caught" by Dispatch in April, though the photos kind of look like they weren't hiding very hard. More power to them!
These two met through costar and mutual friend Jung Kyung Ho, who starred in dramas with both actors. Their dating was a fairly open secret in the industry, but the official news broke in April.
This news has only been out for a couple of weeks, but they met while filming the movie Encounter in May and have grown close ever since.
9. Lee Min Woo and Ko So Hyun
The news about the Shinhwa star and the model came out a few days ago when they left for Los Angeles together to take a vacation before Shinhwa performs at KCON. However, the pair had been dropping hints about their relationship status online with photos like couple rings.
10. Jo Jung Suk and Gummy
Sorry, Oh My Ghostess Park Bo Young/Jo Jung Suk shippers, but he's already in a relationship! By the time singer Gummy and actor Jo Jung Suk finally announced their relationship to the public in February, they had been together for over two years. Media outlets had already suspected that they were a couple when Gummy attended several of Jo Jung Suk's premieres.
What do you think of this sudden outflow of dating announcements? Do you think that having some high-profile stars feel admit their dating is creating a pathway for other celebrities to be open about their relationships as well? It's nice to see more stars allowed to enjoy their personal lives without the public backlash they used to get for dating, isn't it? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
