High Cut, the fashion magazine we want to be reading on the beach with a mai tai at this very moment, is expanding its empire this summer, officially being sold in Japan this June. Earlier this week the magazine signed a licensing agreement with Japanese publishing company Shogakukan, becoming the first Korean fashion magazine to be sold in Japan. During the licensing agreement ceremony, CEO and publisher of High Cut, Bang Sung Hoon, visited the company's offices in Tokyo. Since launching in March 2009, HIgh Cut has quickly risen up the ranks as an authority on not just K-fashion, but K-culture as a whole. Congrats, High Cut!
