The cast of upcoming historical drama  Secret Door appeared at a press conference on September 18. At the press conference, the excited cast discussed the upcoming show, and Lee Je Hoon addressed the age gap between him and his female costars.

The drama, which focuses on the tragic story of Prince Sado (Lee Je Hoon) and his father, King Yeongjo (Han Suk Kyu), is filled with interesting characters, including Prince Sado's wife Lady Hyegyeong (Park Eun Bin) and a fictional young woman who joins the prince's investigation unit (Kim Yoo Jung).

Lee Je Hoon is 31 years old in Korean age (30 in western age), while Park Eun Bin is 23 and Kim Yoo Jung will turn 16 when the show premieres on September 22. This isn't the only time Lee Je Hoon has worked with a younger actress; he was ten years older than his costar  Suzy in Architecture 101.

When asked about his feelings on working with these younger actresses, Lee Je Hoon complimented his costars: “Kim Yoo Jung has intelligent, bright eyes that match well with her character as young detective Seo Ji Dam. Park Eun Bin, on the other hand, is way too nice to play the role of Lady Hyegyeong. She tries very hard in order to adapt to that character’s role, since it has a contrasting personality to her own.”

Regardless of the actors' ages, we are excited to see Lee Je Hoon's first drama after his return from military service. The story and cast sound like a winning combination! If you haven't seen the latest trailers, you can check them out below:
