Lee Jong Suk donates his talent to help blind children
Actor and model Lee Jong Suk is giving back to people in need by lending his voice to the blind. Lee Jong Suk is the new face of Standard Charter’s Bank’s Good Library Project. The project consists of people lending their voices by reading books to enrich the lives of the blind. Lee Jong Suk was chosen because of his warm friendly image and “soft and comfortable voice tone.”
This is really an awesome way to give back, and it’s time consuming. Reading a book out loud and recording it sounds like an easy task but it’s really not when you consider the amount of pages to be read, clarity of speech needed, pacing yourself etc. The fact that Lee Jong Suk is taking time out of his busy schedule to sit and read and record books for the blind says a lot about him as a person.
Fun fact: The former face of the Good Library Project was Yoochun!
