Lee Joon and Thunder officially parted ways with their J-Tune boy group today. An official press release from their legal representative described their decision to take a new paths.

“Lee Joon and Thunder’s exclusive contract with J.Tune Camp and their promotions with MBLAQ ended after the November Curtain Call concert," the press release said.  “Regarding their future plans, Lee Joon will commit to filming his drama Mr. Baek, while Thunder will focus on his music studies. [Lee Joon and Thunder] would like to express thanks to all of their fans who have shown endless love and support to them for the past 5 years. They will continue to repay their fans with a mature and polished image in the future.”

MBLAQ formed in 2009. World star Rain formed the band, and they made their debut at his 2009 Legend of Rainism concert. MBLAQ's last mini album "Broken" was released in March. Rain left J-Tune last year. Now, it seems two of his protégés are following in his footsteps.

Their former agency reassured fans that the group will continue as three (Seungho, G.O, and Mir). Will you miss Lee Joon and Thunder's presence in the group?
