On June 10th actor Lee Joon Ki was injured while filming for his upcoming drama Scholar Who Walks the Night. He fractured his nose during an early morning shoot and had to undergo surgery to repair the break. Lee Joon Ki is currently resting and hopes to recover soon.

Scholar Who Walks the Night is expected to begin airing in July, but it is uncertain if Lee Joon Ki's injury will delay the air date.

A representative from Lee Joon Ki's agency stated that "because he started filming back in May, it doesn't seem like there will be any issues for now since he has already filmed many scenes. As of right now, he needs plenty of rest; that's all that's been decided for now. We will watch over his condition and let you know."
