Lee Joon Ki's first romantic movie in 9 years is finally ready to be released. The popular Korean actor (The Scholar Who Walks the NightScarlet Heat:Ryeo) recently appeared at the movie's press conference. See the photos and preview, and find out more.

Never said Goodbye was previously titled Under the Sicily Sun. The Chinese name "謊言西西里" is literally "Lies in Sicily." It has been explained that the heart-breaking romantic tale started from a beautiful lie.

Lee Joon Ki plays a Korean student who has only 6 months to live due to an illness, but falls in love with a young Chinese woman in Shanghai. The movie is filmed in China and Italy with many on-location scenes.

At the press conference in Beijing on June 7, Lee Joon Ki was relaxed and happy. He teased his leading lady, Zhou Dong Yu, and charmed the audience.

When asked how many kisses were in the movie, Lee Joon Ki earned squeals when he answered, "Too many!"

Zhou Dong Yu added to Lee Joon Ki's fans, "Oppa is still yours!"

(See the hands? That's so cute!)

Take a look at the preview:

The movie co-stars Ethan Ruan (Fated to Love You) and is directed by famous Taiwanese director Lin Yu-Hsiang who averages only one movie every three years to ensure high quality for his craft.

Never said Goodbye is slated to be released in August, around the time for the traditional Chinese Lovers Day, known as 7-7 (for the 7th day in the 7th month).

I really, really would like to see Lee Joon Ki in this movie. How about you?
