Lee Seo Jin (Soul, Phoenix) will make his small screen comeback after an absence of two years. He will take on the lead role of General Gyebaek in the series called (what else?) Gyebaek. It will be a 32-episode series airing after Ripley (which stars Lee Da Hae and Micky Yoochun) on MBC. General Gyebaek was the last military commander for the ancient Korean kingdom of Baekje, who led the bloody battle against Shilla to the bitter end. The series will be directed by Kim Geun Hong (who did Jewel in the Palace, Jumong, Dong Yi, and Queen Seon Duk) and written by Jung Hyung Soo (Damo, Jumong). source: Asiae
