During a recent interview on the popular South Korean talk show "Knee Slap Guru", actor Lee Sun Gyun
of "Coffee Prince
" fame spoke out on his initial reluctance to accept the leading role for the hit 2010 drama "Pasta
Lee explained that he had become more comfortable playing supporting roles and didn't want to feel the pressure of having to carry the drama's success on his shoulders.
What, then, made him change his mind?
After Lee's wife heard that he had turned down the script, she confronted him with the question, "Why do you only take on projects that are easy for you?" Lee called that moment a turning point in his acting career, and the rest, as they say, became kdrama history.
Don't forget to watch Pasta on DramaFever
