Lim Jae Bum City Hunter OST

Lim Jae Bum, a legendary rock singer who retired from the music scene years ago and is currently making a strong comeback in the MBC reality show "I Am A Singer," is now singing the theme song for the Lee Min Ho-drama City Hunter. When news of this broke, his song "Love" ranked #1 in 5 music charts: Melon, Mnet, Bugs Music, Dosirak, and Soribada. It's immensely rare for an OST song to top five music charts, especially before the drama even aired. It's the first song he sang since he appeared in "I Am a Singer." He is no stranger to OSTs though, as he did sing the song "Stigma" for the Chuno soundtrack. (Seen below.) "Love" is downloading faster than Secret Garden's theme song "That Woman," which is incredible. I actually like it better than "That Woman," because Lim's gravelly voice makes the song that much more deep and haunting, and adds a totally different touch to City Hunter. I was ready to dismiss City Hunter as an action flick with attempts at melodrama, but with "Love" as the theme song, it seems like the writers are very serious about the melodrama. Hopefully the writing delivers. What do you think of the song? Is it making you more excited for City Hunter? Sound off below! City Hunter premieres on May 25, and also stars Park Min Young and Goo Hara. source: Nate
