Sad news. Fans of the Korean drama Love Frequency 37.2 may never learn the secrets behind he mysterious Captain and his pirate radio station. MBC has announced that the series has been cut short due to low ratings.

The drama, which aired on MBC Every1, follows the DJ of a pirate radio station (Yoon Gun) as he receives calls about love. In each episode, the same actors rotated depicting different love stories. It was an interesting and unconventional approach to storytelling, but apparently it didn't grab enough viewer interest. While the series was originally scheduled for 12 episodes, low viewer ratings in Korea caused the show to end at the midway point at episode 6. Will you be sad to see the series go?
