Ok, so we all saw Boys Over Flowers and we were just bewitched to say the least. Some of us even fell in love (I recall the feeling so vividly…). But after BoF and countless kdrama streamings I had yet to come across another drama that could compete with BoF until I stumbled upon Me Too Flower (wow, they both have the word “flower” in the title, could this be a coincidence?). It was just as enchanting and highly romantically passionate without the ostentatious and opulence appeal found in BoF, which in my opinion made it more relatable. Trust me, the likelihood of me being as lucky as Geum JanDi is highly slim to none, not to mention that my love thermometer has displayed -20 degrees for the past few years (Oh yeah, it’ been cold). But I was able to live vicariously through Cha Bong Sun. Her story felt so real, in a very familiar world and the likelihood of me accidentally meeting a gorgeous chaebol on his motorcycle just like in this moment…
is still, sadly, slim to none but Cha Bong Sun made me believe it was possible, that I could still dream. Because when I first saw this face, my heart indeed fluttered vehemently and I knew then I was in for a great ride with this drama.
There were countless moments of intense romance and brilliant humor that earned this drama my Best-Romantic-Comedy-since-BoF award. Every single character had content; there wasn’t a single dull moment. The rich, sensitive, Seo Jae Hee with an identity crisis, the temperamental yet kind hearted Cha Bong Sun, the adorably shy rookie officer Jo Ma Roo, the materialistic sister Kim Dal,  the vicious CEO Park Hwa Young, and the love desperate therapist Park Tae Hwa are just some of the memorable characters. The writers carefully crafted characters that everyone would identify with and they perfectly captured the essence of our existence and humanity. All of us, however fallible we might be, desperately seek, want, and deserve an unconditional blissful love. But let’s get to the heart of this drama, shall we? The enchanting love story between Bong Sun-a and Jae Hee-ya was filled with such tenderness and passion that I had so many squirm moments to count. But here are my top 3:
1. This scene was so intense that it catapulted this kiss on the #1spot of my best kdrama kiss list. Allow me to illustrate how magnificent it was:

Followed by:
[caption id="attachment_97597" align="aligncenter" width="429" caption="The fervent stare"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_97598" align="aligncenter" width="435" caption="Her inevitable meltdown"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_97599" align="aligncenter" width="523" caption="Finally the ultimate fervent kiss"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_97600" align="aligncenter" width="436" caption="in the eyes of the entire world."][/caption]
2. This scene ultimately made me want to be Cha Bong Sun. It reminded me of the scene when Geum JanDi was lost in the snow storm and Junpyo bravely went to her rescue. It never fails, a near death or terrifying experience is always the best catalyst to rekindle a lost love or unleash suppressed love feelings. Jae Hee and Bong Sun’s love story is one most of us desperately long for. They complemented each other so brilliantly. He was the light that showed her how to love and she was the light that showed him how to love himself. Aww they look so cute don’t they?  What girl wouldn’t want to be Cha Bong Sun?
But then came the best part, Daddy had to show up (LOL). Wasn’t that just the best humorous moment ever?? There were countless in this drama. This was one of them…
3. And finally #3 is all about Yoon Shi Yoon. These frames are forever imprinted in my brain, just thought I’d share them with you. Who would have thought that this once baker king would have such an enticing appeal. Enjoy Yoon Shi Mcdreamy!
