Meet the man fighting for cat equality
Calling Masahiko Suga a cat lover is just about the biggest understatement possible. The 53-year-old Japanese man is the ultimate cat proponent. He believes in his cuddly felines so much that he wants to make sure they're equal to dogs.
Masahiko Suga tries to create equality between cats and dogs by frequently taking his nine felines on long walks in his buggy in the city of Kitakyushu. He says of the walks, "I want more people to feel attached to cats and learn how to interact with them."
The pet advocate's goal is for people to put cats on the same level as dogs. As the photos show, people are more than excited to see his kitty buggy, with many pedestrians taking photos of the adorable animals.
