Director of Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki Hayao’s comment on the magazine “Neppuu” published by Studio Ghibli, became a hot topic on the internet.  It was about Apple’s latest product, the iPad. In the magazine, Mr. Miyazaki said that he detests people who go crazy over the iPad.  He doesn’t like the fact that a lot of people think it’s trendy and cool to have an iPad – basically he doesn’t like followers. Mr. Miyazaki responded, “Well, information anybody can get is not that important.  You can’t get something really important through an ‘i-whatever’.”
