In the town of Ubud, Bali, there are 18 artistic and serene luxury homes tucked away in the jungle just waiting for you to visit. The Green Village, which was made almost strictly out of bamboo, combines sustainable green living with straight luxury, and just one look will have you daydreaming about your next vacation.

The idea for the village was dreamt up by creative director Elora Hardy, and while some people do permanently inhabit the village, it is also open to retreats and extended stays. There is a centralized communal space in each of the villas, but rooms are separated by gardens. The photos of the Green Village make it look like a truly magical place.

Winding staircase of bamboo!

Incredible communal space!

The cost of visiting and staying at the village can run anywhere between $500,000 and $2 million, a little more than your average treehouse!
